BigTapFlex ("we," "our," or "us") operates the digital identity platform at bigtapflex.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.

By creating an account or using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the data practices described herein. If you do not agree, you must not use our Platform.

2.1 Information You Provide

• Identity information: name, username, pronouns, date of birth, profile photo
• Contact information: email address, phone number, mailing address
• Profile content: job title, company, bio, social media handles, website URLs, and any other information you voluntarily include in your profile
• Financial tracking data: income, expense, and savings entries in Bling Tracker — stored privately and never shared publicly or with third parties
• Payment information: processed exclusively by Stripe. We store only the last four digits of your card, billing address, and transaction records
• Order information: shipping address, product selections, order history
• Support communications: messages exchanged with our team

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions taken
• Device information: device type, operating system, browser type
• Network information: IP address, approximate location
• Profile visit data: when someone views your public profile, we record the visit time, approximate location, and device type. This data is visible to you in your analytics
• Log data: server access logs, error reports

2.3 Information From Third Parties

Stripe provides transaction confirmation and fraud signals. We do not import data from social media platforms.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and profile
• Display your public profile to visitors
• Process and fulfill orders
• Manage subscriptions and billing
• Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and billing notifications
• Respond to support requests
• Send security notices and policy updates
• Analyze usage to improve the Platform
• Detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized access
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

4.1 Public Profile

Information you include in your public profile is visible to anyone who views your profile URL, taps your NFC product, or scans your QR code. You are solely responsible for what you choose to include in your public profile. BigTapFlex accepts no liability for consequences arising from information you voluntarily make public through our Platform.

4.2 Service Providers

We share information with Stripe (payment processing), our hosting provider, and email delivery services. All providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

4.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: retained for the duration of your account and up to 3 years after closure
• Order and payment records: retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance
• Profile visit analytics: retained for 24 months
• Bling Tracker data: retained for the duration of your account, deleted upon account closure
• Support communications: retained for 2 years

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS/HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, PCI DSS compliant payment processing via Stripe, restricted access controls, and regular security audits.

You acknowledge that no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. BigTapFlex provides security measures as a best effort and accepts no liability for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including breaches originating from third-party service providers.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can exercise most rights directly through your account settings. For additional requests, contact privacy@bigtapflex.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with data, contact privacy@bigtapflex.com and we will delete it promptly.

9. Jurisdiction-Specific Rights

USA (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell personal data. California residents may request access, deletion, and correction through privacy@bigtapflex.com.

UAE (PDPL): We process data in compliance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. Contact privacy@bigtapflex.com to exercise your rights.

Pakistan: We comply with applicable data protection guidelines and the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016.

India (DPDP Act 2023): We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Contact privacy@bigtapflex.com for all data principal requests.

Canada (PIPEDA): We collect, use, and disclose personal information only with consent and for identified purposes.

10. International Data Transfers

BigTapFlex operates from the United States. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to these transfers.

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or prominent Platform notice. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
